Digging the Foundation for the Telescope Pier





Be aware that when you start a project like this, it means WORK!
That's me in the photo above, digging the 42 inch deep hole for the 
concrete base for the pier. We also used a 24" x 24" form at the top 
to make sure the base was flat and square to attach the pier. The 
temperature was over 90 degrees that day in October 1996.
